On Tuesday 7th December, we will be holding an online webinar session for local residents where you can listen to the architect, and other members of the project team talk through the proposals, and ask any questions you have, either in advance or during the presentation.
Please click the link below on Tuesday 7th December at 6.30pm to join the presentation.
Barratt David Wilson Homes is preparing a planning application for 200 new homes in Felbridge, to the south of Crawley Down Road, behind the bowling club, football club, and lawn tennis club. This land is allocated for housing development in Mid Sussex District Council’s emerging Development Plan Document that sets out where new homes are going to be built in the District.
We are consulting local people on these proposals before submitting a planning application, so that your views can be taken into account by the project team before we finalise the layout and designs.
200 new homes (mix of 1 and 2-bed apartments and 2, 3 and 4 bed homes), including 30% affordable homes for local people
A development that complements the character of the local area, with tree-lined streets and homes with gardens
Large areas of green space including a central equipped play area for children, accessible by the local community via the bridleway from Crawley Down Road
Trees and Hedgerows
Preserve the existing trees and hedgerows on the site to screen the development and create a network of green corridors
Protect and improve the natural habitats around Felbridge Water on the southern edge of the land
This website will provide you with information about the proposals and why we believe this development will make a positive contribution to the surrounding area, as well as an opportunity for you to give your views. All of the feedback will be collated and analysed by the project team before an application is submitted.
The best way to leave feedback is by using the form on this website.
